Tottenham want €10-15m for Bryan Gil this summer, but Sevilla are currently only offering €5-6m for the 24-year-old.

That’s according to Orgullo Biri, who report that Gil is on the target list at Sevilla and they would like to bring him back to the club once again. In fact, his name is making a strong impression on those in charge, and he is considered a priority option.

They want to take advantage of the fact that Gil only has a year left on his current contract and are considering offering €5-6m to take him off of Tottenham’s hands. They’d only be able to afford that with sales.

But they are considering making an offer, nonetheless. Gil is clear that he wants to return to his former club, where he retains a strong emotional connections with the fans and the city.

Sevilla see him as a market opportunity with the potential for his price tag to rise too. A deal won’t be easy as Olympiakos, Villarreal, Valencia and Girona are also keen.

Tottenham, for their part, are seeking a permanent exit and would like to earn €10-15m from it. Sevilla, then, are around €10m away at this moment in time.

They have the benefit of Gil prioritising a return, though, which could prove to be crucial in the coming weeks.
