Leeds United are ‘jostling’ with Bournemouth for Stade Rennais’ young striker Wilson Samaké, who is ‘inundated’ with offers this summer.

That’s according to Foot Sur 7, who report that European clubs are lining up for the 21-year-old and Bournemouth and Leeds are among them.

They explain that Paris FC are currently leading the race for Samaké as they plan a big summer transfer window after securing promotion to Ligue 1. They see the youngster as a player who can bring energy to the club’s attack.

They’re not the only side keen on the youngster, though, with Leeds United and Bournemouth ‘jostling’ for him in England. FC Lorient are also keen in France.

Leeds’ management have already reportedly placed a €1m offer on the table. Stade Rennais are not selling for the time being, though. That’s despite the youngster yet being given a chance by Habib Beye.

Whether they will consider a sale at any point this summer isn’t mentioned but the suitors are lining up and Leeds and Bournemouth are among them. If they firm up their interest, there’s every chance they’ll need more than €1m to get their man.
