According to a claim in the Turkish media, Fenerbahce are showing interest in Nottingham Forest attacker Jota Silva.
Fener manager Jose Mourinho wants to sign a left sided forward in this transfer window and the Forest player has emerged as an option for the Portuguese coach.
Turkiye Gazetesi report on the latest developments regarding Fenerbahce’s pursuit for Jota Silva and state the club have been in contact with the player’s agent.
Mourinho reportedly wants to solve his issues on the left due to Saint Maximin and Dušan Tadić leaving the Istanbul side.
The Turkish newspaper reports Fenerbahce are now looking to make an offer for Jota Silva which is likely to be a loan deal with an option to purchase. Nottingham Forest paid €7m when they signed him from Vitória S.C. last summer.
It’s unclear what the Premier League club would want to sell Jota Silva this summer, or if they’re even contemplating letting the 25-year-old leave.
Jota Silva made 37 appearances in all competitions last season, scoring four goals, He’s contracted to Nottingham Forest until June 2028
