RS Berkane’s Mamadou Camara is attracting interest from Crystal Palace and Bologna.

That’s according to Africa Foot, who report that Fenerbahçe and Atlético Madrid earlier made approaches for the 22-year-old. They add the Turkish club are still keen on signing him.

Fenerbahçe are joined by Crystal Palace and Bologna in the race for Mamadou Camara.

Africa Foot state both the Eagles and the Serie A club have approached his entourage over a potential move. They add Oliver Glasner’s side are offering the Senegal international a long-term contract to convince him to join them.

The defensive midfielder left Darou Salam for the Moroccan club in 2021 and has played 112 games, managing four goals and three assists in the process.

He has a year left on his contract and isn’t opposed to joining a European club with an ambitious project. However, he doesn’t intend to settle for a back up role.

Berkane are in favour of a sale and hope to collect €4-5m for Camara. There’s no mention or indication if Crystal Palace are willing to make an offer to sign him this summer.

Camara has played five games for Senegal, after previously representing their U20 and U23 sides. He has to obtain a work permit to play in the UK if Crystal Palace want to secure his services.
